I recently discovered the work of Kristina Makeeva and I find it really impressive. She is a fashion and travel photographer from Russia who highlights the landscape and creates a magical and surreal atmosphere. Kristina didn’t grow up in a picturesque, magical neighborhood. In fact, she spent her childhood in the suburbs of Moscow and she would often lose herself in fairytales and fantasy when she was a child. This inspired the magical realism style she displays in her work. As she continues to explore the world, she brings her magical vision of life to the public through her amazing work.
