Spain Dining Guide: Atrio Restaurant & Boutique Hotel in Caceres

A Unique Setting

Set within its own boutique hotel in the old town of Caceres, Atrio is a 2-star Michelin restaurant featuring one of the greatest private wine collections in Spain, plus a striking architecture in a World Heritage location.

The heart of the property, called “atrio” in Spanish, is framed by white geometric arches that play charmingly with the natural light. Other enjoyable spaces include the sun and pool terraces, the secluded courtyard and the garden.

The upper terrace delivers a wonderful view over the plaza and the rooftops of old town Caceres, contrasting with the modern design of the restaurant.

Atrio offers a unique gastronomic experience with a multiple course tasting menu, combing original and avant-garde layering of flavors with an exquisite presentation. You can order a tasting menu from 200€.

An Incredible Wine Cellar

According to Wine Spectator magazine, the restaurant sits on top of the best wine cellar in the world. Atrio’s pride and joy is an 1806 bottle of Château d’Yquem worth more than $300,000.
