Almeria is a province in the region of Andalucia that offers over 100 Km. of spotless coastline, dotted with long sandy beaches and secluded coves bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean. Let’s take a look at some of these amazing beaches!
Top Beaches In Almeria
Playa de Monsul is located within the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata. Its fine sand and crystalline , warm waters make it one of the best beaches in Almeria. It is also famous for the number of movies that have been shot there, including some scenes of the film series “Indiana Jones“.

Playa de Aguadulce is one of the most visited beaches in the South of Almeria. Located in the municipality of Roquetas de Mar, this beautiful beach, with darker sand and calm waters, has many EU awards that certify its quality.

Playa de Los Genoveses is located near the little town of San José, in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata. With 1,200 meters of fine, gold sand and surrounded by small dunes, it is an entirely virgin beach. Private car access is restricted but you can walk easily to the beach and enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole bay.

Playa de Las Salinas is the biggest beach in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata. Covered with fine, light sand and small pebbles, Las Salinas is never crowded and you can always find deserted spots for a relaxing day at the beach. There are no beach infrastructure facilities so you have to take your own snacks and drinks.

Wow what a lovely place to explore and photograph. After we had a chance to visit Seville a few years ago, I always had a desire to return and to see more of it, especially its wonderful coast. Hopefully, one day ☺️ thanks for sharing and have a good day ☺️ Aiva
