The Castle of Guadamur is an extraordinary, well-preserved example of residential castles typical of the Toledo province in the 15th century. The castle of Guadamur was built in different stages, the first around 1470 and the second around 1520, in order to strengthen the protection of the area.
A guided visit to the Castle of Guadamur can be done only by appointment and it lasts about 90 minutes. As the castle is private property and it is currently under renovation, guided visits can only cover the exterior, the stables and the dungeons. General entrance is 5€.
